ANGELA HAN, board president

Angela Han (she/her) is a Chinese-American multidisciplinary creator (artist, musician, educator, researcher, writer, and curator) who builds speculative worlds through art, music, and storytelling. Her notable projects amplify the courage and creativity of Asian women, such as “Realms of Courage: Celebrating Asian Women Composers” (2021 - present), “https://www.arc-sf.com/with-a-twist.html” (2024), “Journey of 1000 Miles” (2025), and “Meng Nu Xia Shan (Fierce Women Descend the Mountain” (2025 - present). She has shown her work at Arc Studios & Gallery, Bass & Reinger Gallery, International Hotel Manilatown Center, KnK Contemporary, Sanchez Art Center, SOMArts Cultural Center, and Voss Gallery. Han is the recipient of the San Francisco Arts Commission Artists Grant (2021) and Arts Impact Endowment Grant (2025) as well as California Arts Council Individual Artists Fellowship (2023) and YoungArts Fellowship (2025).
